Cornerstone CU is proud to announce the three recipients of the 2017 coveted Founders’ Scholarship: Priscila Castillo from Sterling High School, Emily Diffenderfer from Orangeville High School and Heather Musser from Stockton High School. (Pictured in order below).
Priscila, Emily and Heather have demonstrated leadership and dedication throughout their high school years and were chosen for their commitment to furthering their education and community involvement.
Each scholarship grant is for $5,000 to be disbursed over four years.
As part of our ongoing effort to invest in our future leaders, the Founders' Scholarship program for graduating seniors is designed to encourage and promote degree completion and to reinforce the rewards for increase responsibility.

Watch for details for 2018 scholarship applicants this Fall. To apply for the 2018 scholarship, the applicant (student) must have a credit union membership account in which his/her name is primary on the account. Students must have this account open 30 days prior to the Scholarship application deadline, which will be January 31, 2019.
Note to parents
: If you have not opened a CCU membership account for your children, do so now and help them get ready for the financial responsibilities of college life--having a child as a joint account on a parent’s account does not qualify.
