Cornerstone Credit Union goes all out for this tradition in the Sterling/Rock Falls area. Celebrating Mexican Independence Day, this week-long event also honors the variety of rich and colorful cultural contributions that Hispanics brought to this region with music, food, art, dance and more. The Fiesta Day Parade is its 65th and brings out some extraordinary floats for the community to enjoy. We are proud to say that the CCU float once again took 3rd place, out of 97 floats this year.
Cornerstone Credit Union was a proud corporate sponsor of the South Beloit Centennial Celebration, held Aug. 24 – 27, 2017. Cornerstone staff and board members participated in the Centennial parade down Blackhawk Blvd. Saturday morning. Following the parade, we handed out free SOBO Centennial commemorative tote bags (with a special CCU gift inside) to attendees of the Annual Firefighter’s Corn Boil in City Park. As South Beloit’s only credit union, CCU is excited to be part of this great community and congratulates South Beloit on its 100th Birthday!
